About Terry

Terry Owens was not always the financial specialist he is today. Originally, he started out in the construction industry where he worked in many trades starting at the age of 16. Terry went to BOCES in High School in Bellport, NY and then went to Suffolk Community College where he received his associates degree in Construction Management with a focus in engineering and drafting sciences.

After obtaining his degree in 2006, Terry went back out into the world as a glorified drafter. He had a job with the Mortgage Zone as a Mortgage Planner. It was there Terry met the guys (Greg, Greg, Tim, and Neil) who encouraged him to become a licensed mortgage loan originator. After his time at Mortgage Zone, Terry went on to Ideal Mortgage then to Equity Source. In 2010, Terry joined the team at Reliant Home Funding, Inc, but shortly after Terry made a life changing move to Florida with his beautiful wife so she could start her new job and so they could start a family. This led Terry to start his career with Chase.

It's ten years later and Terry is resuming his journey at Reliant Home Funding. He and his wonderful wife have a handsome son and two loving dogs. They live in a tropical paradise in Florida known as Stuart where they do sandbar Sundays on the boat and enjoy helping the community. Terry is back with RHF and is looking forward to growing and helping his community and the Reliant community there in Stuart, FL.
